So, are you still running for in the race for president of the United States? I’m still a write-in candidate, yes. I have a little red book coming out in June (like Mao’s famous little red book, to spec) published by Feral House. And you can find my official announcement on my The Revolution party site. Victory over Horseshit! What's that all about? I've noticed that shit-kickin' cowboy boots are coming back into fashion. Are you wearing them to trudge through the crap?
I’ve always worn Beatle boots actually, but my latest pair got a hole in them. Now I’m just wearing Keds. Victory Over Horseshit! is about being able to shout theater in a crowded fire with George W. Bush in the middle. Your name, where did that come from? I can't imagine a mother cooing "R. U. Sirius, aren't you the sweetest lad around" to her wee son? Wee little doggiez from Sirius landed on my wrist one night and gave me superpowers… and a goofyass name. What's next for GettingIt? Next for GettingIt is death. GettingIt was defunded at the end of ’99. Maybe somebody out there reading this would like to sponsor a hip tabloid with the best writing on the web… huh? Best place for some people watching and a drink in the Bay Area? I like 111 Minna when something is going on. Which bridge would you rather break down on? Richmond, Bay or Golden? and why? I’d like to break down the Bay Bridge and then make the Brown Mayors rebuild it themselves by hand. Thoughts on the Webbies? San Francisco needs a little bit of glamour but somehow I don’t think it works… Most entertaining political websites? My own the-revolution.org, but besides that Srini Kumar’s unamerican.com Are there any foods that make your dreams funkier than normal? Pizza followed by ice cream. I dreamed that Dick Gregory and I were the last people on earth and we were in a Safeway wrestling each other over a pork chop. (Does anybody know who Dick Gregory is anymore?) Other than GettingIt, what other publications are around that deserve a thumbs up this month? Stile Project is pretty sickening and I like it a lot. And chickenhead.com is great. One word on the Elian business? Whatever. Local environmental agencies you support? I don’t support any agencies. Anything that calls itself an agency is right out… l like the Global Exchange though. Is there someone I should be interviewing? Let me know at susan@posthoc.com And tell me why. |
