There's not a lot to say about Bob's. They simply have the best donuts in San Francisco. Bob's gets re-discovered at least once a year by the likes of Michael Bauer and the other local hacks.

It's a simple old-fashioned counter serving generic coffee and fantastic donuts. They have a large selection of other pastries none of which are remarkable. However, the ladies serving up their fare are as sweet as Mary See and her gallery of motherly matrons trying to fix what ails you with sugar, a smile and some old time kindness. All the donuts are great and unlike any others you will find throughout the City. Try a baker's dozen and surprise your co-workers. They're open 24 hours a day.
