While not striving tirelessly to preserve and advance the arts as we know and love them, Beth Bachtold can be found mixing her own special brand of creative chaos from her Civic Center pied de terre/pad of terror. Aside from red wine, she enjoys writing, painting pictures of women with big heads, getting creative with bindis and glitter, and of course, spelunking the local music scene for all that is made with love and deserving of mention. A gal of diverse musical taste, she loves everything from the Fifth Dimension to FooFighters, Badfinger to Blondie. She is also quite fond of the new low-fat Pop Tarts. In her spare time, she sings covers of classic rock tunes as her alter ego, Bethel Vermin.
